VigiTrust hosts hugely successful PCI DSS Roadshows in London and Dublin. These events drew industry experts together to impart their wisdom of PCI DSS to an audience of merchants and other industry practitioners. The panel discussions led to some lively interactions and several queries from the floor.
Among the speakers at the events were:
Jeremy King, the European Director at the PCI SSC
Doug Smith from Verizon Business, showcasing Verizon’s annual data breach report
Matt Martin from Barclaycard spoke about PCI DSS challenges for merchants
Eamonn Skyrme and Nick Heape from Visa Europe discussed the Visa Third Party Agents list
Gerard Curtin from PixAlert detailed the practical challenges faced by organizations locating cardholder data in their environment
Peter Brudenall, a Partner at LG Legal, spoke about the Data Protection Act, the Information Commissioner’s Office, and the upcoming proposed changes to the Data Protection laws.
Cam Ross, of Veritape, discussed the ways in which company can become PCI DSS compliant in regard to call recording systems.
Paul Collins, Chief Information Security Officer at Depfa Bank, explained why PCI DSS is the benchmark for their Information Security Policies.
